What changed: Wording only: our name is now written SynCore, as in our official documents. Nothing else has changed.
This policy applies to everyone who uses SynCore services. It forms part of our Terms of Service.
1. Not allowed
You must not use SynCore to:
- store or share anything illegal, including child sexual abuse material, which we report to the authorities;
- store or spread malware, phishing pages or anything designed to harm systems;
- share material you don’t have the right to share, including content that infringes copyright or trade marks;
- run a public file-hosting or file-distribution service, or share links widely with the public;
- send spam or harass anyone;
- try to break into, overload or test the security of our systems or other customers’ accounts without our written permission;
- get around quotas, limits or suspensions;
- use share links as a public download site or content delivery network (there is no monthly cap on share-link downloads, but fair use applies and we may rate-limit or revoke a link that is abused);
- commit or help with fraud, money laundering or any breach of sanctions.
2. Reporting misuse
To report misuse, including content you believe infringes your rights, write to abuse@syncoretech.net. Please include the share link or other details that let us find it, and why you believe it breaks this policy or the law. We acknowledge reports within two working days.
3. What we do
When we receive a credible report or find misuse ourselves, we may revoke share links, hold files for review, remove content or suspend the account. Where we can, we tell the customer first and give them a chance to respond. Where the law requires, we keep records and pass information to the authorities.
4. Appeals
If we take action against your account and you think we were wrong, reply to our notice or open a ticket. A different member of our team will review the decision.
